Welcome to Madoline Cafe x Mangkapita, a delightful gem nestled in the heart of Poblacion, Brgy. San Vicente, Leganes, Iloilo. This cafe is not just a place to grab a cup of coffee; it's a sanctuary designed for relaxation and productivity. With a serene atmosphere and a charming interior, it is an ideal spot for both unwinding after a long day and immersing yourself in your studies or work.

As you enter, you’re greeted by warm smiles from the attentive staff, who are known for their friendly demeanor and exceptional customer service. The ambiance here is thoughtfully curated, with a blend of soothing music (albeit occasionally interrupted by quirky ads!) and cozy seating arrangements that invite you to linger just a little longer.

Madoline Cafe x Mangkapita celebrates the art of coffee, showcasing expertly brewed drinks that cater to every palate. Whether you're in the mood for a robust long black at P125 or tempted by the luxurious profiles of drinks like the Blossom Latte or the Green Tea Overload, you will find satisfaction in each sip. Customers rave about the unique twist of drinks like the Spanish Latte, which strikes a perfect balance between sweetness and bitterness, delivering an invigorating caffeine kick that makes it a must-try. As one customer noted, “it's one of the best Spanish lattes I have ever had” – a testament to the meticulous craftsmanship behind each beverage.

The cafe also takes pride in its Instagram-worthy drinks, like the incredible concoction featuring mango puree, ice cubes, Arla fresh milk, and ceremonial-grade matcha. As Allyn Japitana aptly put it, every ingredient is measured and weighed for that perfect blend, offering a sensory experience that’s fun to swirl and sip through.

While the cafe's prices can seem a bit on the higher side, patrons agree that the quality of the drinks and the inviting atmosphere make it well worth the splurge. Reviewers have expressed their joy in having discovered a place where the coffee is not only good but also beautifully presented, creating a visual feast that adds to the entire experience.

However, it’s worth noting that parking can be a bit of a challenge as it’s located along a busy National Highway. While this may momentarily interrupt your plans, the tranquil experience within is a welcome reprieve from the bustling streets of Iloilo.

For anyone exploring the area or just seeking a comforting nook to recharge, Madoline Cafe x Mangkapita stands out as a remarkable destination where coffee meets character, and each visit feels like coming home.

Arrived a bit late, almost closing bit they still managed to accommodate us. The food is good and flavorful, it's a bit pricey but worth it. The staff is nice, friendly and always smiling when you make eye contact. The downside is that it's street parking and its right along a National Highway where it becomes an inconvenience to traffic.

Great coffee, expertly brewed. P125 for a small long black. Good ambiance (except for the ads in their music playlist. Haha) and interiors.

We dropped by this cafe on our way to Passi. It has a chill vibe and the staff were welcoming. We didn't get to order food because we were in a bit of a rush, so we only got coffee to go. We got their Spanish latte and I must say it's one of the best Spanish lattes I have ever had. The taste was just right - not too sweet, not too bitter and the caffeine kick was awesome. It kept our driver awake all throughout the drive, haha.

We had high hopes for the drinks and we weren't disappointed. The Blossom Latte and Green Tea Overload were sooo good. It is pricey but you get a huge cup and what sets Mangkapita drinks apart from the other cafés that serve matcha drinks is that they have matcha drinks with this kind of grainy matcha paste at the bottom of the cup that is so yummy and fun to swirl around the cup and sip through the straw. It adds more flavor and texture to the drink. I thought it was totally worth the price. Make sure to ask which drinks have this matcha paste at the bottom if you want to try them! Rice meals were good, too. We tried their Chicken Wings and Beef Tapa Rice Meals. Ambiance is nice, the color palette of the interior and the decor is pleasing to the eye. They offer free wifi and I saw a few people working on their laptops. The place is small but it wasn't too crowded when we went during lunchtime on a weekday so I think it's great when you want to stay for a long time. They have an open rooftop area with more tables and I imagine it would be nice to hang out there in the afternoon or evening when the sun isn't too strong. They're located by the side of the road and have only roadside parking.

Instagrammable place. We tried only one drink: a cold drink with mango puree, ice cubes, Arla fresh milk, and matcha for 195 pesos. It was probably my most expensive drink here in Iloilo. Everything ingredient was measured and weighed. The water was tested for the right temperature. I believe the matcha was ceremonial quality.
